EU regulation classifying and governing AI systems based on risk.

The EU AI Act categorises AI systems as unacceptable, high, limited or minimal risk, with conformity assessment, technical documentation and post-market monitoring obligations for high-risk systems. Phased enforcement runs from 2025 through 2027.
